This was a really fun wedding to photograph on St John. The bride and groom wanted to make the most of their island destination and decided to have photographs made at Gallows Point Resort, the beach, and Annaberg Sugar Mill Ruins. 

Have you ever considered running away to a tropical island and getting married on the beach? I photograph a lot of ‘elopements’ on St John like this one, where it’s ‘just the two’ of them and the wedding ceremony is all about their union. There are a lot of reasons to consider eloping on your wedding day but the number one thing I hear from brides and grooms is that it was what they wanted. They didn’t want to have to worry about making everyone else happy on their day and just focus on each other.  Once they got back to the states they could share their wedding photographs and celebrate with their families.

Nothing makes a tropical vacation in the Virgin Islands last like a photograph. Vacations always go by way too fast, so why not bring home more then a tan and have professional vacation portraits made on the beach?
